I have made 3 purchases from alight.com. First the positives: They sell unique clothing and quite a few items are made in the USA. They also ship in a pretty timely manner.
The bad: My first order had two damaged items. One item had so many holes in it, I can't believe no one there would have noticed it. They did offer to reimburse me for return shipping, however I'm not sure that I was actually reimbursed. I forgot to verify this and at this point it's too late. That's on me, though.
Now, my BIG problem with alight.com is their refund process. I've sent back 3 returns. One of the returns went directly to the manufacturer, C.enne.V, and they refunded me in a timely manner. However, with the other 2 orders that were sent to alight, each time I had to wait out the "20 business days from receipt of your return." (Don't even THINK about making a return without tracking service!) Then I would email them asking about my refund and I would get a reply the same day telling me that, miraculously, my refund had been processed (without apology for the delay). The fact that this has happened to me twice makes me think something is fishy, like alight is hoping you'll forget to follow up so they can keep your money. Unique plus-size clothes or not, I will not be ordering from them again.
