In September I phoned Sheilas Wheels to add a second car to my insurance. I was told it was all sorted and that I'd receive the certificate for the second car in the post - which I did.
I then tried to renew my road tax for the first car five months later to find out they'd cancelled my insurance for this car when they added the second car. I drive every day - I could have lost my licence.
Furious doesn't even come close. As soon as my time with them was up, I cancelled. But that wasn't the end of it:
I then had two further direct debits taken (what for?) and have received a demand for a cancellation payment from the dlc on their behalf.
I have written to request my money back, but have already been told I'm unlikely to get it all back as I could still have used some of their services. Without actually having a contract with them, how exactly would I have done that I ask?
Avoid them like the plague is the only advice I can give.
