I suffer really badly from Polymorphic light eruption (PLE)which is awful and causes me to itch like you wouldnt believe. I was so fed up that after visiting the doctors and them not knowing what PLE was and not offering me a solution other than to stay out of the sun whilst on holiday abroad. The reason i go on holiday abroad is to get some sun and enjoy it. I done some research and came across Piz Buin Allergy Sun. I used this product for the first time in July/August 2010 whilst in Cyprus for 2 weeks (temp reaching 52 degrees C)and for the first time in 6 years i did not suffer from any symptoms and was able to enjoy my holiday without any itching! I was very careful to ensure i kept re-applying often as prevention seems much easier than cure. If this product went up to £100 a bottle i would still buy it and would recommend to anyone who suffers with PLE, just make sure you keep topping up, especially if you are sweating or after swimming.
