What a book! Ok...so i admit, the babyish cover did put me of a little when i picked the book up but hey, what do they say: Never judge a book by its cover!
When I was in the process of reading this book i had no idea that the other MD (Mates, dates) books were about the same characters in this book, because i have never read them. But i think if your wanting to read this book you don't really need to read the other books first...BUT i would recommend reading the other 12 first because it will give u MUCH more detail about the story, and you'll enjoy it more.
Before you do make any purchase u have to realize that if u read this book it will give away everything in the other 12 books.
Anyway...
It is a brilllant book, considering that I'm not really into girly books, but this book surprised me in a really good way!
I love the fact that you're getting the story from both sides of the lovers: Lucy & Tony <3. Its also a great girl power book, best friends and all.

Mates, Dates and the secret story is definitely in my Top list with Hush, hush as no.1 and maybe this book as no.2 ......

WARNING: This book has caused illnesses such as: Not being able to put the book down, being in love with the character Tony, throbbing love headaches, love coughs, book coughs, sadness for the characters and many more. If u do experience any of these things, the only way to stop them is to finish reading this book then email the writer and ask her to write a 2nd one to this book.
