Have waited a whil to write this review - call me a doubter but I wanted to get at least 3 'cash redemptions' before doing the review.
'Bought' a HTC Wildfire October 2010 through dialaphone. Effective cost of contarct is £8.80 pcm with 100 mins, 500 texts and 500Mb data.
The phone is good - check reviews elsewhere - this is a review of dialaphone.
I was VERY sceptical of this offer. Total cost over 18 months will be £160 which was less than the cost of the phone alone at the time! Was concerned at possible problms with concelling the gadget helpline and insurance that came with the Vodaphone contract. In fact I found it very easy indeed to cancell these items. I followed the instructions with care and it took 10 mins to cancel both the insurance (6.99pcm) and helpline (£17 every 6 months) and I have never paid them a penny or heard from them since. Cashback - .... would it work. Yes - again tak care to follow the instructions with care, it does take 10 mins to print the bill and post it (snailmail) to the correct address. Once this is done I get a confirmation email about 3 days after posting and a cheque (how quaint) posted to me after about 7 days. So far have had £120 'cashback' and have every reason to belive the rest will be forthcoming.
All in all this has been a great deal and I have had great service from dialaphone. Bear in mind that you need to be organised and put a bit of work in to cancel insurance and claim the cashback - but its not difficult. Don't take this kind of deal if you aren't prepared to do this.
I'll go to dialaphone when contract runs out in 6 months or so .... and I'm very happy to have a great phone with calls, texts and data for £8.80 pcm!!
