I am absolutely disgusted with the 'service' that policy admin provide and I use that word loosely.
I took out a contract (upgrade) through Phones4u and was given a months FREE insurance with a company that they promote. Within 2 weeks of purchasing my new iphone 4 it was stolen out of my bag, I went through the neccessary procedure of reporting it to the police and contacted policy admin. I was told that I had to send an excess of £100 - which is required to ensure that monthly payments are kept to minimum! I have since been contacted to be told that i will not be recieving an new phone BUT a payment of £405 this is apparently the amount it would cost to buy a RECONDITIONED iphone from amazon even though my phone was in a brand new condition..SO I'VE PAID £100 EXCESS & HAVE TO PAY A FURTHER £100+ TO BUY A PHONE THAT WAS IN THE SAME CONDITION AS MINE!. I am going through the process of complaining to the aboce two companies and London General Insurance Company Limited who policy admin represent and act on their behalf, if i do not recieve a satisfactory result I will be contacting the F.O.S ** I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS RIDICULOUSLY APPAULING SERVICE **
