“BEWARE BEWARE IF U NEED TO RETURN AN ITEM OR EVEN BUY...”

I ordered two swimsuits on March 6, 2011. I returned them on March 23, 2011
I then waited for my credit to show up on my credit card. Then on April 25 I wrote them asking where my credit was. They wrote " do apologize for any inconvenience. We will process your return credit today. Please allow 3-5 business days for the credit to appear back to the original method of payment." Wellllll, on May 11th I wrote stating I hadn't yet received my refund. Newport News wrote "do apologize for any inconvenience. We are working diligently on processing your return. You should allow 1 to 2 billing cycles for your return to be processed." Well I had waited. So I wrote again on May 24th. This was their response: "We completely understand your frustration, However returns could take up to two billing cycles from the time the return has been received. Thank you for your understanding in this matter." So I wrote on June 16th that I now had received 3 credit card billing statements. NO RESPONSE.

SOOOO, I called. This time I was informed that Signature, the vendor that made the swimsuits had gone into bankruptcy. Anything ordered before June 7th was therefore under the bankruptcy banner. NewPort News is still doing business however. If I bought something from Walmart, Target, Penneys, and the brand vendor went out of business, those retailers would honor my return. NOT NEWPORT NEWS!!!!!!! IF YOU DO BUSINESS WITH THEM YOU ARE RISKING THEM TAKING YOUR MONEY AND GETTING NOTHING IN RETURN.........BEWARE!!
