“Rushed from start to finish - poor customer service”

The venue itself was on the whole lovely as was the food quality. However we felt rushed from start to finish and the customer service from the wedding co-ordinator is appaling. Rushing was the theme of the day and some guests had drinks and food taken away before they were finished. The evening buffet was meant to be out for 90 minutes from 9-10.30pm. However it was put out early and taken away by 10pm so most guests got nothing to eat. When we complained about this afterwards we were told we were wrong and that the food had been left out til 10.30; basically I was lieing! They were unwilling to do anything about this and refused to give us any money back insisting it was out til 10.30.
Severely lacking in people skills and very inflexible in general with the planning arrangements.
Don't expect a luxurious honeymoon suite either. Yes its a 4 -poster bed but tiny and shabby decor in the room, although the jaquizi bathroom is a nice touch.

We chose this venue as a local hotel that we eat at regularly but the poor service has left a bad taste.
