“Stay clear of Allianz car insurance!!!”

I made a claim to Allianz after someone stole suspension parts off my car. The car was collected by them as it was no longer driveable. I received a letter saying no parts have actually been stolen and that the parts are intact on the car! and that this is a mechanical problem and they are not going to fix it! Just as well i took pictures! I challenged them on the phone with what i new only to find out that these idiots had not even sent a engineer out to look at my car. After phoning them a number of times nothing was done. It took 2 months for these cowboys to send a engineer to inspect the car(no courtsey car all this time!) I was told they will send me copies of photos of the damage when it was inspected. Guess what "nothing!" This is supposed to be one of the biggest insurace companies in the world! They are happy to take your money but seem to try every trick in the book not to pay.
