We have just got back after a week at weymouth bay,we really enjoyed our time in weymouth but would next time stay in a hotel near the beach.
Our caravan was fantastic, it was a prestige and certainly lived up to its standards. Our beds were comfortable, the kitchen was quite big, the living room was great apart from having no stalls to sit at the table and eat with which we did complain about but got no stalls and a brillant television that was flat screen, the bathroom was spotless and loads of room altogether.
The Entertainment building had a lot of good things to offer such as the swimming pool apart from the edges in the lazy river was really sharp as my daugther cut her foot, the arcade was good apart from the fact that they had gambling machines on offer to young children of any ages, the entertainment hall was ok for young children but within a couple of minutes of opening it was packed and you could not get a seat and the live acts were mostly boring we only had two nights of good acts.
The main complaint would have to be about the resturant and bar as they could never provide you with the food or drink that you wanted, on the second night of our holiday we decided to go to have a meal in there. When we went to order our meal they had completely run out of what we wanted and when we changed it they didn't seem to have that either, they never had a good selection of wine as the best one on there you wanted they never had and they tried to charge you for changing your drink order when they didn't make it correctly or have the drink, the bar staff were extremely rude towards you and didn't follow the main rule the customer is always right, it was more like the bar staff are always right.
I would not ever recommened it to my friends or family but if you are goign I would advise you to use it as a base and make sure you have lots of petrol from driving the 10 minute drive to the beach !!!!!
