paid a deposit of £200 whilst they sorted out a finance for me, they guy was very nice. after i got an answer of yes, they payment had gone up and i said i cant afford it so he said we will arrange a cash refund, a week later, still no call,so i went in at around 630pm to be told they guys who do the refunds had gone home, i was told to ring the next day to arrange the collection of my cash refund, i rang and the receptionist told me that we cany give it you as there was no cash to give me and offered me a cheque, i said no, tis went on for a bit and i was being spoken to very rude and unproffessional, she put me through to her manager (paul), he went on telling me they have no cash and i would have to wait untill someone comes in to pay cash but it would be a long time as many people pay by card, i asked how long, he said i dont know so i said a month, he said maybe lol....i was getting very annoyed by now, he offered me a cheque to collect but i refused, i was being treated by him very poorly and he didnt handle me very well for a customer service person, he kept saying im not going to get cash back and i would have to wait...in the end i said listen, ill send someone up for the cheque as im at work, he said no it has to be me, i then said no i cant and he tried to explain to me why, he said i dont feel right giving someone else a cheque, i said ill give you his details and he will bring ID, after a while he chatted with eve who agreed to write me a cheque and my friend could collect.
overall i think hewas very unproffessional and spoke to me like i was a thug.....thanks for making my day CAR PEOPLE the hassle free place....
please be aware that the car people do not have a float in the safe of cash so cannot give you a cash refund if you had paid cash
