DON'T BUY FROM GAK. GAK acts like it's doing you a massive favour by stocking equipment and that you are incidental to their existence. They'll expect you to pay their advertised price, even when it's comparatively overpriced (by hundreds of pounds as in my case). I have imported gear from the US for less, including import taxes. I do not like their business attitude. Why would I spend any money in their shop when they treat me as if they are doing me a favour for me offering them thousands of pounds in cash? Not Visa or credit, CASH!

I found most of the shop staff to be friendly, patient and genuinely enthused about what they did BUT totally phobic of any reasonable bargaining when I offered them cash of over £3,000! It's a double-bluff to overconfidently act as if cash doesn't matter, because it does and I don't like to be bluffed. I bought what I wanted from other sources, for far better prices, far better service and less of the bolshy reverse-psychology and unreasonable attitude. I use GAK as a place to try before I buy - ANYWHERE ELSE BUT GAK!! eg Soundsgreatmusic, Peach guitars, Chandler guitars...even e-bay! My only choice was 1 star because there are no minus stars!
