We (wife, daughter, myself) travelled in Business Class (Class Affaires) from CDG-Toronto, having transferred from an AF flight from Edinburgh. We were seated in row 6, three seats in middle were excellent for us. The service was impeccable from the start; champagne, then aperitifs, followed by amuse bouchees, a starter, good choice of main courses and desert. Choice of wines - all French - was excellent. We found the seats comfortable, temperature and lighting were OK, and the cabin crew helpful and informative. The flight was delayed in departure due to air traffic restrictions, but the flight crew made regular announcements about progress. Despite criticism of AF Business Class seats on the 747, we found the seat comfortable and were able to get 3 hrs sleep with no problem. Return journey was equally good, and we also all slept very well. The only criticism is the lack of a priority boarding channel at CDG for Business Class - instead there was an unseemly scrum.
