For the first year, the PVR9200TBX was very good, while not very intuitive to use, it was not difficult. But for over 6 months now it has been freezing. Even before it freezes, the subtitles get badly delayed. Even the "on-off" switch on the front fails to turn it off. Response from Humax is essentially that "there isn't a fault with the product, it's the fault of the broadcasters". I couldn't possibly comment. Furthermore, it does not interoperate with non-Windows computers to save programmes (so Macs and Linux users have had it).



I would have liked to know beforehand that the 3-year HumaxDirect guarantee was rather useless, and that it will not interoperate with Macs.



So I will not buy a Humax again. Off to try a Toppy probably.
