I had none of the problems others have had with lost luggage or late or cancelled flights. I simply found the in-flight comfort and service very ordinary. The food was not good, even for airline food, tho wine was good, and I was offered a digestif after the meal, which was nice. Then we didn't see the cabin crew again until time for breakfast. On a 13-hour flight I expect cabin crew (as I know Qantas does) to patrol the aisles regularly, just checking but also offering drinks, fruit, etc. On this flight I couldn't tell if the cabin crew were still on the plane. While there was a reasonable selection of in-flight entertainment, the mechanism was dodgy and didn't work for some movies. The seating, however, was the worst. The seats are too narrow for a short haul flight, so 13 hours is simply unbearable. A slightly overweight person would have trouble even squeezing into them. I won't do Air France again any time soon.
