Good Points
Tastes reasonably good.

Bad Points
Has an artificial flavor that is noticeable in the aftertaste and when smelling it.
It clots if left alone in a glass for half an hour or so.

General Comments
Selling for roughly half the price of Baileys the flavor of Carolans Irish Cream Liqueur is betrayed by a synthetic caramel smell that leaves a slight aftertaste. Ingredients aren't as good, particularly the cream.



I would use Carolans in coffee or perhaps mixed drinks, but it is at best a mediocre Baileys clone. It does taste OK, but that is all.
