i can't figure out why it won't record past 2hrs sometimes

General Comments
PLEASE HELP!!! I have been having the same problem with the Sansui VRDVD4005 as the persn who reviewed before me. However when I record on a dvd-rw i can record up to 6 hrs no problem. but rw are obviously more expensive and I don't want to waste anymore dvd-r on converting videos to incomplete dvd's. this has frustrated me a lot. I actually work for sears, and I asked the person who sold it to me, as well as two other people that work in electronics, and none of them knew why this was hapening. They really didn't have any extensive knowledge about the machine. It doesn't help that there isn't a troubleshooting hotline, and nobody in the store knows about it. If anyone knows how to solve this problem please respond to this.
