“Having recently moved into a new flat and realised...”

Having recently moved into a new flat and realised that the furniture I had in storage is actually not that much I made the obigitory trip to Ikea. Now I don't own any power tools and have in the past borrowed screwdrivers from my family or friends. Whilst queuing at Ikea I noticed the Fixa box which contained the bare essentials you need when moving in to a new pad. It has a hammer (complete with rubber cap when you don't want to leave a nasty mark on your furniture), a handle with interchangable scredriver heads and various allen key bits, some pliers and an adjustable spanner.

All in all a pretty good deal for under a tenner. It might light work of putting together our sofabed and TV stand, especially the allen key bits. Perfect for first time home owners, students or renters. Plus it has a quirky name...
