I purchased a carpet from 1st choice carpets in Devizes costing £700. Three carpet fitters attempted to fit the carpet with spray glue in some places instead of using grippers: it's Hessian backing. Carpet dipped down and was uneven at the fireplace, they cut some cardboard on top new carpet & cut in the pile of the new carpet in several parts with a Stanley knife. When we looked at the hessian backing there was bald patches, I said I wanted a replacement or my money back: Mike Eddy refused to do either. Don't buy anything from 1st Choice crapets-they are rubbish.
