Good Points
I love the 10x zoom. It really gets close. Pictures turn out great. Lots of settings. Great manual mode also. Battery has never died on me while being out somewhere. Easy to use. Straight forward menus. Don't have to go through a lot to get what you need like some other cameras.

Bad Points
Nothing really bad. Just sometimes the green light will come on, meaning the picture's in focus, etc. but it will actually be out of focus. You can tell though so you just focus it again. Doesn't happen much though. Usually only when up close to things.

General Comments
I would recomend the Kodak DX6490 camera to anyone. Especially if you want to get up close to things. Great if you want it for a point and shoot or if you want to do some manual things. I work at Best Buy and sell cameras so I've tested out quite a few. Kodak in general is very easy to use and great for the money.
