“Bought this HP 110 Windows 7 10.1" 250GB HDD Wifi...”

Bought this HP 110 Windows 7 10.1" 250GB HDD Wifi Netbook with Software USB Key Sleeve & Mouse just before Christmas 2009 from QVC it was their 'Today's Special Value'. My daughter and grand-daughter's boyfriend also bought one each. The cost was excellent being £310.84 plus £9.95 P&P (Total:£320.79)for the Netbook, software, etc. as described above. I believe that the Netbook alone would be in the region of £380 to £400 normally.

In my case it was bought as an adjunct to our 2 main computers, being one I can use in my bedroom without it being like a large hunk of looming hardware cluttering up the place. The Netbook itself is shiney black with a subtyle grey sworly pattern on the lid and comes with a neat, zipped, heavy duty black fabric carrying case, also containing a foam pad for ballast.

I have been very pleased with it now having had it for 6 months. Of course it does not have all (but almost!!) the refinements of a larger model but it works well with the Internet and the battery has a life of about 12 hours which I think is good; it charges quickly too. The keyboard has been very well thought out and is 90% the size of a Laptop. Also the battery housing is situated in a kind of 'roll' at the rear and partially underneath which acts as a stand to raise it to a slight slope, making it VERY convenient.

It comes installed with the usual stuff but NOT Microsoft Office; I was not too keen on the software for Office use which came with it ( I think it was Corel) so installed Microsoft Office onto it myself. The USB key that came with it acts as an extra to others I already own. There is also a 'dinky' little optical mouse with a retractable lead - this works very well once you become used to it being approximately half the size of a normal one! Their is provision to use BLUE TOOTH also.

The screen is fairly small but VERY clear and their is provision for clarifying and lighting if your eyesight is not too good. You can attach a printer and there are 3 further USB sockets.

Perhaps the only thing that annoys me is that you cannot install your own wallpaper - there are about three choices installed but they are the ubiquitous blue which all computers have.

My overall opinion of this Netbook is that it is VERY GOOD VALUE for money and I am glad that I bought it. I recommend it to anyone needing a small addition to main computers and, obviously for use outside of the home.
