Through this comparator site I booked a VW Golf for pick up in Colchester for the drive to London Heathrow. I came across the site by chance after checking rental prices online directly with various major car hire suppliers like Avis and Budget. To my suprise, www.121carhire.com offered the best rates.



It isn't that clear who will be supplying the vehicle on the site until you are well into the booking process, which can be a drawback as I personally prefer to use a car hire supplier I'm familiar with. However, the online price included unlimited mileage, collision damage waiver and breakdown coverage.



Upon pick up I had to pay the fee as booking online only required a deposit. The VW I had hoped for was not available but I was happy with the Ford Focus they offered as an alternative for the same rate.



I would use www.121carhire.com again.
