“We chose a last minute flight and hotel holiday online...”

We chose a last minute flight and hotel holiday online with Beach Collection and committed to it by giving our card details and agreeing to terms and conditions and were informed that they would confirm within 24hrs. This was a Saturday afternoon and by Sunday midday (the flight was Mon 08:25) we had heard nothing and so couldn't book travel to airport or insurance in case it didn't happen. Customer services is shut at weekends ( you don't find out until you have been haging on for about 10 mins-website says it is open at weekends) and so no way to contact them until I read a previous review which gave another no. called it and was told they would call back in 10mins. 2 hourse later Colin called with "good news and bad news babe " that holiday we wanted was not available but a more expensive one ( surprise surprise) was in an area that was unacceptable to us so no holiday. By then it was too late to book with anyone else and we were too disheartened to anyway- having packed our bags and been hanging about waiting for a call. So basically they get YOU to comit and hang around ( so you can't try another agent ) until they offer something different. I would definately NOT advise this agent for a last minute holiday use one of the sites where you phone and get a confirmation immediately
