We bought this De Dietrich oven which was priced as a premium appliance, costing more than Bosch / Neff etc. Within the first two years, the element for the fan assisted oven melted/sparked and needed replacement. We had it replaced, and within another 2 years it melted/sparked and needed replacement again. Now approximately 5 years since buying it, the fan element has melted for the 3rd time, and also the bottom element has also stopped working. My previous oven was used more, and the elements lasted over 20 years. I think I'll cut my losses and buy a new oven. Not very impressed with De Dietrich. Unreliable in my exeperience.
