Nokia 6300 phone
Yes, I'd recommend it for a year because of the camera, the ease of use, the robust aluminum casing, and general good looks. It's good for about a year. Then the battery starts to drain quickly, and may require charging every day, or more often if you are on holiday or in hospital and are doing a lot of TEXTING! I've had mine two years. The battery life appears very poor. I just ordered a replacement battery on ebay for £5.99, but it came with a note saying that it's often the power app that's faulty, not the battery. It's a common fault. A lot of my friends have the same phone and also the same problem. None of my older Nokias used to drain down as quickly! I'm now looking for a replacement Nokia with similar features, but without the power app fault.
