I recently sent off a phone, as many of the reviewers have done on this site, and heard nothing back from cashinmyfone. I then checked around and found other stories of a similar nature. I hadn't sent the phone recorded delivery, but sent as standard post in the packaging provided. I contacted the company after around 2 weeks and got a response from an advisor called Nicola. She was very professional and provided useful information. I provide Nicola my IMEI number to help track down the phone, but unfortunately no luck. I'd written it off the bad experience and decided to always use recorded delivery when I was informed that my phone had arrived, been inspected and the money was coming my way.
Well, I'm very pleased and now realise that Cashinmyfone may be getting a bad reputation not from their service, but due to the poor service from the Post Office. My advice is to use the Cashinmyfone website, but also always use recorded delivery when sending a phone to any service like this if you don't want it lost in a sorting office somewhere.
