Good Points
The price. I bought my CFX used from "Rich from Mich", a well-known tuner here in the states. I paid $200, but got an exceptionally tuned rifle, a far superior piece compared to the cheap Chinese springers I had been familiar with in the past. The accuracy is exceptional-better than my talent allows for
Bad Points
Power. I'm not a power junkie when it comes to airguns-I understand the drawbacks to going "supersonic". But my CFX is shooting about 800 fps(sorry, don't have a metric conversion table handy) with 7.9 CP's. My father's stock CFX does no better. Another 100 fps would be nice for longer range targets. And the stock trigger could use improvement-Rich from Mich made mine very acceptable
General Comments
You can't go wrong with this rifle. For approx $200 US, you'll get an accurate, easy to cock rifle with lots of upgrade potential, should you wish to do so. I also own an Airforce Condor (among others), but find myself going to the CFX for most plinking sessions. I've had such a good experience with the CFX that I'm now going to spend some real dollars/pds for an Air Arms Prosport
