Seems like there's no turning back once you've started using Apple iPhone. I had a 2G before and I've recently upgraded to 3Gs. I'd recommend an upgrade for 3 major reasons:



1. Email -- I don't stay in the office most of the time and the email feature is very important to me. 3Gs downloads email much faster and works much better with the push features.



2. Map -- It can locate where I'm and can give me driving direction. It's basically a GPS and I can't go anywhere without a GPS!



3. Internet Tethering -- When it is turned on, my laptop can get online using the iPhone network.
