Good Points
reliable starting

Bad Points
The Mountfield SP470's lower handle is extremely weak where it bolts to mower body. Mine has snapped after 18 months of reasonable use, and it is impossible to get a replacement from Mountfield. I have now had one on order for 6 weeks with no sign of anything coming through from Italy.

General Comments
I would not recommend this make of mower to anyone based on my experience. I bought the machine from B&Q and would have expected to have no problem on any subsequent spares needed. This is not the case and prospective purchasers need to be aware that the machine itself (not the engine) is manufactured in Italy. The supply chain from my experience is hopeless.
