The Mountfield SP470 with a Briggs & Stratton engine is meant to be one of the best makes of lawn mower you can buy. This model, however, comes with a strong recommendation not to buy. Used less than twenty times, it looks as if it's been in service since the last century. The push bars buckle, one of the wheels continues to fall off, and the pull cord rips through the flimsy plastic engine cover. I don't think I will have much luck trying to get this back to B&Q, so the next step is the skip. It really looks a mess, despite having to only cut a 120 foot residential garden; not a rolling meadow.
