Loads of extras

Bad Points
Not too quick 0-20
Traction control reins the car in too much, got to turn it off to enjoy it at its best

General Comments
The Toyota Corolla T-Sport is a great car on the whole, practical and reliable with extras you only get on cars a lot more expensive (a lot a kickdown from Lexus e.g emergency brake assist- the 60-0 time is only 2.4 seconds.. That's Evo/WRX territory!)

With a 190bhp engine, one would expect the 0-60 time to be a bit better, but the car's strength lies in speeds above 20mph. In short, if you take the time to learn the gear ratios and turn off the traction control, the car rewards in buckets.. If you're going to be a bit soft on the car, and be mollycoddled by the electronics, don't bother, it'll disappoint.

In summary, practical and reliable, but you only get out what you're willing to put in.. Not one for shrinking violets! Oh yes, by the way, the model prior to September 2004 was a bit of a dog, the suspension on the later models has been dropped byabout an inch, and rebound springs and stability programme were altered, giving a far nicer car to drive.
