Good Points
This gun patterns for turkey like no other out of the box in its price range. I thought about a Benelli Nova but the cost to have it back bored and in camo was not in the ball park with the 835. It has a 10ga barrel with a 12ga bore.

Bad Points
The gun is not well balanced due to barrel weight and the action is a little sloppy. The gun can be short stroked(causing all of the none cycling problems you may read about)

General Comments
I own a Benelli SBE and am on my second 835. For waterfowl stick with the Benelli but for turkey I love the Mossberg 835.
