Good Points
Better patterning, less felt recoil than in other 3.5" models, greater magazine capacity, availability for after-market parts (equal to Remington...not so for others), EXCELLENT CHOKE TUBE SYSTEM! Price, Overall Value
Bad Points
not able to shoot slugs without a specific barrel
General Comments
Overall, one cannot go wrong in purchasing one for an overall utility shotgun, especially for the duck, goose, turkey enthusiast. It will not break any budget, is very reliable, and will perform just as well if not better in most cases than any other 3.5" pump on the market...including those priced well above the 835.
