I have been more than dissatisfied with this product. I have had to return these GHDs three times due to different faults that have occured. The first " times the wire started to become loose and crackle, this time when they beep to turn on they keep beeping and do not heat up. Over the space of one year they have had to send me 2 replacements and now they have to send me another one due to the current fault. When purchasing GHDs, due to the high cost you expect them to be high quality but they are not. I am more than dissappointed with this product. Please note however that it is only the GHD Gold. I have used the normal ones before and they were excellent.
