An absolute nightmare. First we got a call 6hours before the flight was due to depart, telling us there were engine issues and hence it was cancelled. The KLM rep told us she could only book us on a flight departing 2 days later, which is ridiculous considering many other airlines fly the same route between Bali and Singapore. When pushed (we had to argue) for alternatives, she only offered a EUR75 flight voucher per pax, which is peanuts for a last minute booking such as ours. After further arguing, she probably decided she had enough, and told us she could put us back on the same flight.

Without going into too much details, it turns out she had lied in the first place.

Later on, the check in process took nothing less than 2.5 hours (we had to stand in queue), and the flight ended up being delayed 3.5 hours. No refreshments were offered at all during all that time, and the whole time at the airport was a nightmare.

I'm never taking KLM again.
