Well i haven't suffered any of the above complications with my Makita HW130.
My labourer managed to drop my one from a roof whilst cleaning it (the roof), it came crashing down, bits of plastic flew all over the place, a 13ft scaffold board then came crashing down on top of it, both the wheels were busted, but I switched it on and it worked as it did when new. I've now stripped the whole thing down and replaced the broken parts and its chuffing along like a choo choo train. So there ya go!, stark contrast to the above review. I do however have to replace the nozzles too now as they are blocked, but you can't hold makita responsible for that.
