“You need to know how to drive in order to get the best...”

Good Points
Reliable and good fun to drive, nice exhaust note and good acceleration once you hit the vtec point, fantastic road holding.

Bad Points
Thin metal on the body, dents when a bird lands on it, sluggish response when you have to get going quickly, you have to be feeding the revs to get a good blast of speed, change to 2nd then put your foot down.

General Comments
You need to know how to drive in order to get the best out of the Honda Civic Type-R, If you see a Golf GTI coming up quickly in your rear view mirror, you have to change down quick, build your revs up so that you are simmering just a little under 5500rpm, wait until until the Golf is just behind you and then put your foot down, Don't forget you can lose your license by doing more than 100mph, or more than 70mph in a 40mph zone, Be very careful with this car, with 9 points on my license, I am.
