General Comments
We were so pleased when our Maytag Neptune washing machine was new, but it has been a steep down hill run ever since.
First the main circuit board (a 10 cent resistor) just out of warranty.... they changed the design of the replacement board (ie they knew that had a problem), but refused to take responsibility ($350...ka-ching!). They "fixed" the smelly condition for 'free'.... AS IF! The only cure for the smell is a regular Clorox enema for the old Neptune. And now a main bearing problem, is making more noise than a 747 on take off. This is our last Maytag, and yes there is a class action lawsuit. I normally hate this kind of suit, but Maytag really rubbed my nose in it.
