General Comments
My Maytag Neptune was a wonderful gift right before a new baby. Now, it is costing more than the child. My purchase was in the fall of 1998 and has gone through several replacements for mold. Now, the mold problem is fixed. Yet, I now am experiencing a new problem. It stops spinning leaving me with nothing but water. I called the Maytag service and was told it is now under recall, but I would have to pay a $105.00 service fee to see if that is the problem. I am tired of calling the Maytag MAN and having to wait for it to be repaired. All I want is for it to work and wash my clothes not to smell like mold. Too much to ask? I certainly paid enough for this product. I am tired of not having a washer that I may use. Maytag just needs to give it up and replace these items to those that purchased this item.
