“Purchased one of a Toshiba MT-100 because no one had...”

Written on: 09/04/2005 by toyotacelica (1 review written)

Good Points
Fab Projector, white in colour, just right for in home placement. Same as in focus 4800! Includes remote. Absolute bargain dlp projector.

Bad Points
Very slightly noisy.

General Comments
Purchased one of a Toshiba MT-100 because no one had an Infocus 4800 or x-1 and it is the same projector! But this ships with a remote handy when ceiling mounted (the only way to go when you have a dog!) and was even a bit cheaper £699 (Feb 05). Another bonus for in home use is the colour when ceiling mounted it really blends into the ceiling and is very unobtrusive have it connected with a lead from Maplin 15 pin vga to 5 bnc (about 25 quid) and then run from the progressive output from a new Toshiba 240e DVD player, real cheap from powerhouse of all places £45 inc a free collectors edition of monsters inc.

Am projecting on to a manual matte white Beamax screen (£169 Feb 05) of a 4:3 format a much better idea as all films seem to be slightly different in format.

To sum it up I'm really impressed and picture is great, no colour banding, no artefacts, and handles moving images really well.

Hope this helps.
