Purchased a pair of Rudy Project glasses with prescription lenses, glasses arrived after a 3 week wait. Packaged very well and glasses seemed to be official Rudy, however one of the arms had a defect. Contacted smartbuyglasses who requested photos, I supplied them and they came back a day later admiting there was a problem. They then gave me 3 options, send the frame back only, or return frame only to be swapped over for another set, but I will need to go to my local optician to fit the lenses in, or last option send the glasses and lenses back and they will replace with new identical pair, but the wait is anything from 2-4 months! Tried ringing the customer service, but its a toll free answerphone!!!! Have complained to Paypal, but they wont do a thing. How smartbuyglasses can send out a damaged set of glasses, and only refund the frames is disgusting! What am I supposed to do with the lenses? they should have done a quality control check before sending, but no this UK company based in HONG KONG! is a rip off. yes they sell cheap glasses, but there customer service is awful. I should have read the reviews beforehand....
