Ive been here a coouple of times and its very hit and miss! I usually go simply due to it being very local. Today was the worst experience ive had. We went to the bar to order as normal to be told there was no burgers! I then ordered my second choice which was the Moby dick! Described as a whale of a fish! We also ordered a Tex mex meal and fish goujons for starters. The fish goujons came. There were delicious but the side salad was mearly a couple of strands of lettuce. No tomatoe, cucumber or anything. After then waiting for about 40 mins for our main courses the waiter came over and advised theres also no chilli for the tex mex!! Why it took them 40 mins to advise us of this i dont know. We then ordered a pasta dish instead. After about 50 mins from when we ordered our meals came. The pasta dish was ok but the chicken was was over done, dry and brown. The moby dick came and im sure it wasnt the moby dick just a normal battered fish and chips which should have been £4 cheaper. They then rubbed the moby dick of the blackboard which confirmed my suspicions. The staff were polite and appologised but the whole atmospere just seemed very unprofessional! As its local I will probably and up going again but certainly wpuldnt recommend it to anyone. I will wait atleast 6 months to see if things imporove. Very disappointed.
