I have in the past been very happy with Booking.com, but recently have found the website harder work- looking at hotels in several German towns we have found it difficult to set the distance criterium. Also, in German towns there are often hotels which call themselves Pensions, which are generally cheaper, but Booking.com rarely includes them.
