General Comments
I have had the Sony Ericsson T300 for a month now and I easily get fed up of phones. This one i haven't. The features are endless and even if you are bored of the current applications, it is simple to download new ones. The style of the phone is very nice. Being a retro style. The only problem i had was that it gets scratched very easily so make sure you keep it in a cover. A good point is the screen quality. If you are very technical about phones, you will realise that the phone has less screen colours than most Nokia's for example. It has 256 colours whereas the most common is 4096. I had a Nokia 3510i before this phone. I don't notice the difference in the screen quality. The games on this phone are terrific. There is Erix, Space Invaders, Black Jack and Mini Golf. They all give a good representation of the screen quality. Polyphonic ringtones on the whole are on the hole, quieter than monophonic ringtones. The T300 takes these sounds to a whole new level by giving it a louder ring. The joystick gives fantastic mobility throughout the phones's menus. Above all these good points, there are two bad points. 1. The joystick can be hard to get used to and complicated to use when you first get the phone. 2. The battery has a slight slight spring to it. This has been a common problem and is a fault, it isn't supposed to be like it. Rather than fitting snugly, it pushes the back cover out ever so slightly. If the problem occurs, return the phone. All in all, the T300 is a fantastic phone and is far better than any of the Nokias.
