Having used the online portals for 5x different banks, I can confirm that NatWest's is by far the most user friendly and feature-rich of them all.
Time-saving features such as the 'quick transfer' which allows you to easily transfer cash between your NatWest account by selecting the 'from' and 'to' accounts from the drop-down list, entering the amount, and clicking 'OK' are fantastic.
The online service is so comprehensive, I can't even remember the last time I had to resort to telephone banking for something I couldn't do online!
The only feature I feel it lacks is an online messaging function so that you can send their customer services team an enquiry or instruction. This would almost entirely remove the need for telephone banking in my opinion (other than to report lost/stolen cards/cheques).
