“Despite eventually getting a metallurgists report as...”

Written on: 25/04/2007 by herbyg (1 review written)

Good Points
Fantastic space with great living area.

Bad Points
Two sets of poles broke, the first at the first erection and the second under windy conditions at the third outing. Wild Country did not want to know.

General Comments
Despite eventually getting a metallurgists report as advised by Trading Standards, Wild Country refused to accept that the poles, which were said to be of substandard, low carbon content steel, with faults in the forming, were in any way faulty.

After months of emails back and forth Wild Country refused to accept any responsibility for the snapped poles and ripped tent. Their attitude was disgusting.

The retailer of the tent was disgusted and gave us a full refund.
