I always have good experiences with Locanto, found my puppy on there and I was also able to sell some household appliances there. Once I had to contact customer service and they replied in less than a day with a personalized message and not the standard template stuff.

the only thing that is bothering me is that there aren't too many ads right now but I understand the site is still young and the name needs to get out there first. at least it is clean and doesn't have so much junk on there like craigslist.
