I visited the And so to Bed store in Birmingham yesterday and found the Sales Assistant to be very rude. There were many comments but the worst by far was when I sat on the bed and he said 'I'd rather you didn't do that'. WHAT?!? I explained that I needed to in order gather the height and therefore ease of getting in and out of it. He explained that the lady who arranges the linen takes quite some time to do it therefore he doesn't want it spoiling. How utterly ridiculous! If I am planning to spend that much on a bed surely it is reasonable to want to test it for height, squeaks etc. Absolutely adored the design of the bed but will not be purchasing it. So disappointed.
