This British Telecom BT Paragon 550 phone is robust and represents excellent value for the price. However, the manufacturer should have produced one in a black colour option, which won't show marks and will match other black office equipment. The phone instruction pamphlet is clear and concise and the unit is simple to set up, but oddly mentions nothing about attaching a headset. The headset socket beneath the phone is an RJ11 type and therefore one would have to purchase an appropriate amplified, volume-controllable headset having an RJ11 connector on its cable. A good headset could cost you up to £50 from a supplier (virtually the cost of the phone).
