My husband and I have just spent 5 nights in a touring caravan at Sea View Holiday Park, Sennen. The location is good with a lovely beach at Sennen. However we were disappointed with the site facilities which were nothing like their advert. In the five days that we were there the Club/bowling alley were only actually open on one day - the excuse being that there was fireworks at Lands End on tuesday, thursday and sundays so they did not open the club! Why the keys for the showers? There were no plugs in the sinks in the main block and no paper towels.



To top it all on the first night we were hit by very strong winds and we were actually up all night helping a young couple with children hold their tent down etc. We learnt the next morning that another couple with two young children actually lost their tent altogether to the winds. They telephoned the site owners who live on site to ask for help - they were told there was nothing they could do as it is four o'clock in the morning and if they sat in their car they would try and sort them out with a static in the morning when they open! Surely in an emergency like that and for goodwill they could have "sorted" them out then. needless to say the young couple gave up and went home. The lady on site said the emergency number was for emergencies! If that was not an emergency, I would like to know what she thought was.
